Ashlyn Mason, Media Chick
Ashlyn Mason is a mass media professional who works in a diverse range of environments such as radio, television and print. Mason considers herself a student to the communication and production industries because of the constant advancement in media trends.
Mason is a graduate of Virginia State University, where she studied Mass Communication with a concentration in radio/television and a minor in English Literature. She has a passion for storytelling and uses it to create opportunities for her clients looking to increase their brand awareness.
During her free moments, Mason dedicates herself to mentorship at local middle schools, planning adventures through travel and a good read (via her virtual book club) servicing her community through volunteer work and an occasional bowl of chocolate… it's her way of living a balanced life.
Avery H. Jones, PR Junkie
While the public relations industry continues to expand and encompass many aspects of marketing and media communications, it requires PR professionals to be adaptable and creative thinkers. After working in the corporate, non-profit and entertainment industries, Avery is using her passion for PR for a greater purpose.
Avery, is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she studied Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Business. After graduating from VCU, she decided to continue her education at George Washington University where she obtained her Masters’ degree in Tourism Administration with a concentration in Event and Meeting Management. With a love for public relations and event management she has been able to shape her career path and opportunities in the direction she wants to go.
When she finds the time Avery enjoys fitness - related activities, traveling and spending time with family.
Avery is the concept engineer of AblazePR specializing in Public Relations and Event Management in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
Kristie George, The Visionary
Kristie is a Graphic Designer who enjoys making the vision of her clients into a real product through communication design. Kristie has a passion for branding, marketing, design, and typography.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Washington in 2010. After graduating she decided to pursue her passion for helping others and accepted a job offer at the Epilepsy Foundation as the Web & Design Coordinator.
When she isn’t thinking about her next project, Kristie enjoys putting on the hat of a “Do It Yourself” hobbyist, vegetarian chef, art enthusiast, traveling, and volunteering regularly at N Street Village.
Kristie is currently a Graphic Designer for one of the nation’s premier trade associations in Washington, DC.
